Concert with Hong Kong Medical Association Orchestra

2017 marks our 30th anniversary. To celebrate this milestone, we have great pleasure to collaborate with the Hong Kong Medical Association Orchestra to present works for harmonica quintet and orchestra.

Venue: Concert Hall, Hong Kong City Hall

The program includes

- two original compositions for harmonica quintet and orchestra by Hui Cheung Wai: Rendezvous Paris and Last Time We Met Larry Adler in Hong Kong, both featured in our concert 13 years ago with the City Chamber Orchestra of Hong Kong in the 5th Asia Pacific Harmonica Festival 2004 in Hong Kong

- world premiere of the harmonica quintet and orchestra version of Enesco's Romanian Rhapsody No.1 arranged by Anthony Cheng.

Besides, we will also play the first movement of Dvorak's String Quartet in E Major Op.80.

In this concert, Mr. Harry Choi will replace Lau Chun Bong. Harry was the champion in the chromatic harmonica solo competition in the 2009 World Harmonica Festival.
